Until now, libraries have been confronted with a variety of case shapes and sizes - which resulted in messy, haphazard shelves. Often these vinyl cases melted in the heat and cracked at the seams after only a few circulations.

In response, Midwest Tape engineered the Soundsafe™ line of audiobook cases:

Each and every audiobook that you order will arrive shelf-ready in a Soundsafe™ case of the appropriate size. Additionally, Midwest Tape includes repackaging at no extra cost.

Rugged performance keeps discs safe

The patented Soundsafe™ case is engineered specifically for libraries. It features thickened polypropylene walls that are extremely rugged, which means secure storage in a drop-box-safe case that can withstand patron abuse and automated handling equipment. We even custom designed the sturdy interior sleeves to hold the discs securely and provide easy placement and removal of each disc. The cloth interiors prevent scratching, increasing disc life, and the sleeves have special retention welds that prevent the discs from falling out.

Midwest Tape's Audiobook Replacement Program is designed for customers who need to replace one or two discs of a set. Purchasing individual replacements solves the problem of lost or damaged discs and keeps your hot audiobook titles in circulation. Our Replacement Program is available to all our customers; you don't have to be a member of a Customized Standing Order Plan to purchase replacement titles.

Replacements are available for our most popular Fiction, Non-Fiction, and Children's titles, including New York Times Best Selling Titles and Authors. We update the list of available titles daily and add hundreds of new titles each year, and all our audiobook replacements are only $9.99 per disc.
